The Apprentice is finally back for the first time since 2019, with sixteen brand new entrepreneurs battling to win £250,000 worth of investment into their business.

The investment, as usual, will be provided by Lord Alan Sugar. But, this time, there is a slight change when it comes to Lord Alan Sugar’s aids.

While Baroness Karren Brady is returning to help Lord Alan Sugar, she is joined by former The Apprentice winner Tim Campbell. Tim will be replacing Claude Littner as he has left the series on its 16th season.

What Happened To Claude From The Apprentice?

Claude is taking a step back from The Apprentice because of injuries received in a bike accident. He is recovering from the incident, which took place in April 2021.

According to the BBC, the 72-year-old is determined to return to The Apprentice when he is capable.

Claude injured his right leg when he was riding his electric bicycle. The injury was so severe that doctors considered amputating the leg.

He has already undergone nine medical procedures as part of his recovery and will have one more on July 19, 2021.

Claude Littner has been married to his beautiful wife Thelma Littner since 1976.

While little is known about Thelma, she appears together with Claude on public occasions and serves as his support system behind the scenes.

The couple shares two children: Anthony and Alex. They also have five grandchildren.
