Roxanne DeJesus Battle With Lupus
Roxanne DeJesus tweeted saying that she was battling lupus — an autoimmune disease that causes fatigue and joint pain, among a litany of other symptoms somewhere in 2017.
"They weren’t kidding when they said it takes [a] series of a test[s] to be diagnosed with lupus. Thankful that I’m feeling so much better,"
Roxanne is much better, but as there is no cure for lupus, she must have had a hard time living with the condition.
Moreover, in 2020, Roxanne posted a picture with her granddaughter where her abdomen looked overly bloated. Viewers took it to the next level and questioned if Roxanne is pregnant.
Roxanne’s change in appearance must be due to lupus, which can cause a build-up of fluids in the abdomen. Also, she is already in her 50s; thus, there’s a little chance of her getting pregnant.

So far, Teen Mom viewers knew Roxanne has two daughters Briana and Brittany. However, recently, there comes a new face named Kevin, the sister’s half-brother, in the picture.
While the truth about Kevin was unfolded, Roxanne was no longer able to keep the secrets from her daughters and confessed she hid the fact about Kevin with them to protect them.
Other than the family’s secret, Roxanne was also accused of using a racial slur during a recent episode of Teen Mom 2. During a conversation between Roxanne and Briana talking about the leaked phone number of Briana done by Briana's ex Devoin Austin.
Roxanne said,
Next, they'll be knocking on our f---ing door because this d--- gave out your information.
Soon mother-daughter received unwarranted backlash from fans, which weighed heavily on the pair.
To clear the thing Roxanne said,
I've been really sad and emotional about it because we're talking about Devoin,"
"I didn't say it; clearly, it's there. It doesn't work out for anybody when you assume. I love Devoin and will always have his back. I will always want the best for him. And it just breaks my heart to think that this happened."
Briana added saying, her mother is not racist; she did not use the word.
"It's so frustrating for people to think that my mom would say that word or would be that type of person when she has been Devoin's biggest supporter,"
Roxanne said,

"Someway, somehow, we have to make it work for Nova. This doesn't affect Briana or me as much as it will affect Nova. I just need him to relax, calm down, and it'll all work out in the end."
