In an interview with ET in October 2015, Liza revealed that her son Brendan was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Susan then claimed how proud she was over the way her daughter was handling Brendan’s condition.

“Liza has given Brendan a mantra really. She would say to him, holding him by his arms and saying, my legs are tight. ‘So what?’ She’s raising a full total human being. He’s such a wonderful boy.” - Susan Lucci

Susan and Helmut’s second child, son Andreas Huber was born in 1988. The 34-year-old works as the CEO of Locality Media; the company is located in Garden City, New York.

When Andreas was in high school and college, he pursued his passion for golf. In 1998, he won both the individual and team Big East Championships at Georgetown University.

Andreas once took a break from golf to seek a Wall Street job. He returned to the Canadian PGA Tour and the European Challenge Tour shortly after. In 2013, the golf enthusiast appeared on Disney's Big Break Golf.

Susan Lucci and Helmut Huber got married in 1969.

They first met in 1965 in Long Island, New York. Susan Lucci was an 18-year-old Marymount College student.

Helmut, on the other hand, was the Garden City Hotel's head of food and beverage service and a chef. The two got closer when Susan worked at the hotel as a server during college.

He’s really been a rock, and I got lucky because how could I know all that going in? I was 22."
