‘American Housewife’ Star Meg Donnelly Dealt With Anxiety In Her Early Life

Meg Donnelly has made a name in the industry as a model, singer, dancer, and actress. She is known as Ash in the Netflix comedy series Team Toon, Taylor Otto in the ABC sitcom American Housewife, and Addison in the 2018 Disney Channel Original Movie Zombies and its 2020 sequel, Zombies 2.

Meg has also well utilized her platform to spread awareness about mental health-related issues. She is no stranger to mental health problems as she suffered from anxiety all her life. Through her social media platform, Meg offers her experiences on spotting anxiety and proactively addressing the issue. 

Meg Donnelly Opens About Her Anxiety 

Meg Donnelly opens up about her unpleasant part of her childhood. She suffered from anxiety all her life and suffered from stomach aches and panic attacks. May 2020, which is marked as Mental Health Awareness Month, has become fruitful for human beings. In the awareness month, Meg did a live session on her Instagram account with Dr. Arash Anoshiravani and talked about her own experiences she suffered during her childhood. 

During the session, Meg revealed that she suffered from Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and panic attacks. Only a few people knew about her condition, which confided her that talking about health detail was a big deal. 

However, her parents showed their unending support throughout the tough times. 

On a positive note, Meg asserted that she is all better now and thanked all her supporters. 

Donnelly also often posts about mental health subjects on her Twitter account. She has also taken a stand against bullying and is heavily associated with Children’s Health Fund. 

On 7th October 2020, Meg dedicated her performance to children's mental wellbeing during the pandemic through a virtual benefit program.
