Riverdale’s Vanessa Morgan Welcomes Her 1st Child!

Vanessa Morgan is a Canadian actress best known for her roles as Amanda Pierce in the Family teen comedy series The Latest Buzz, Beatrix "Bird" Castro in the MTV teen drama series Finding Carter. She is also known as Sarah in the Disney Channel/Teletoon film My Babysitter's a Vampire and Toni Topaz in The CW teen drama series Riverdale.

Vanessa recently showered the internet with a piece of good news. She has welcomed her first child.

Vanessa, 28, further wrote that she planned to be the best mom, and her costar Madelaine Petsch agreed that Vanessa would be the best mother.

While welcoming the little bundle of joy, Vanessa and her estranged husband, Michael Kopech, were both thrilled.

In July 2020, she shared her pregnancy news on her Instagram, saying,

“Exciting news. I am overjoyed to be welcoming my baby boy into the world this January. This little guy has already brought me so much happiness and a feeling of such a greater purpose. I cannot wait to meet you!!”

Just a few days after Vanessa shared a piece of exciting news, it was revealed that her husband Michael had filed for divorce after six months of marriage. In January 2020, the couple had tied the knot in Florida.

On 19th June 2020, Michael filed for divorce in Texas, but a hearing date was not listed.

Likewise, when Vanessa announced her pregnancy, Michael was found nowhere in the videos or photos she shared.

When the news of the couple’s divorce broke the internet, Madelaine Petsch clapped back at Instagram trolls doubting the professional baseball player’s paternity.

Madelaine wrote,

“Vanessa is a beautiful mother to be, and the hate and disrespect I’m seeing on this post about her bringing a new life into this world is disgusting.”

Vanessa, on the other hand, continued documenting her pregnancy via social media.
