PUBG Just collaborated With Notable K-Pop Band BLACKPINK

On the mobile gaming platform, PUBG Mobile has become one of the most leading battle royale games. People of different ages and professions play the game where the only limit is imagination. And this time, the developers have put extra effort and hard work to bring new concepts to make people more engaged in the game.

In 2019, PUBG collaborated with Alan Walker and had a crossover with Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Walking Dead.

This year in 2020, with new updates and a new season, PUBG had dropped a couple of teasers with the news of collaborating with popular K-pop girl group Blackpink.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has finally revealed its news on collaboration with Blackpink and working on new modes. Moreover, before the collaboration announcement, the game had added Blackpink’s song called “Playing With Fire” as part of the ‘Spark the Flame’ gameplay. It was played at the tent locations on the map, and the song was heard near the large statue on the spawn island.

Although PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has not disclosed further information to the public on how Blackpink members will be joining the battle royale, there are speculations that Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose might become special playable characters in the game.

According to hypebeast.com, players might also be getting Blackpink-themed special items like their official lightstick hammer and a pink car.
