‘Wicked Tuna’ is an American reality TV show about commercial tuna fishermen of Gloucester, Massachusetts, fishing for the lucrative Atlantic bluefin tuna in the North Atlantic Ocean.
The show also focuses on the teams of fishermen who battle to see who can earn the most out of catching the fish. Dave Carraro was the top earner of the show on season 2 and season 9, and he is ranked No. 3 in Season 10.

Dave was born in Tinton, New Jersey. Since he grew up near the waters, he would often go fishing in the ponds with his father.

When he reached the age of seven, Dave was already exploring the ocean shores with his father. It was at age 13 when he caught his first Bluefin Tuna.
For his education, Dave attended Middletown North High School. After graduating from there, he went to the Shields Aviation Academy to study a course in piloting.
His Career
Soon after finishing his education, Dave got a job on party boats, which he didn’t find to his liking. So, he went ahead and got himself a license for tuna fishing.
That was when Dave started working on his tuna fishing business, selling fish to local restaurants and making an earning.
When he had earned enough, he upgraded to a charter business. He used his fishing boat, FV-tuna.com, to go out fishing for the Atlantic Bluefin Tuna. (The fishing boat is the same vessel he uses as of now)

It wasn’t long before the production crew of ‘Wicked Tuna’ invited Dave to join the cast of the reality show.
