Kimrie Lewis is an American actress, comedian, writer, and director. She is best known for playing on the ABC comedy Single Parents as Poppy Banks and a recurring role as reporter Ashley Davidson on Scandal.
The show Single Parents got canceled, and thereafter, Kimrie joined the cast of Kenan as Mika Caldwell, Kenan Thompson’s close friend and executive producer. Kimrie Lewis was born on 16th March 1982 in Los Angeles, California, the U.S as the daughter of William and Carol. Her father was a news sound engineer and cameraman, and her mother was a news executive producer.

From her father's side, she is the great-niece of jazz bassist Charles Mingus. Moreover, she has a brother named William Lewis, who supported her job and career. Once, he changed his flight schedule to watch his sister’s debut in one of her TV shows.

Kimrie’s alleged boyfriend turned fiance is a business person and a manager living in Los Angeles. Her boyfriend attended the University of Southern California, henceforth graduating with a BA degree in Interactive Entertainment for education.
