Melissa Fumero is an actress from the United States. She is most recognized for her roles on One Life to Live as Adriana Cramer and Gossip Girl as Zoe.

In Brooklyn Nine-Nine, she presently plays Amy Santiago. In the sixth season of the program, she directed the episode Return of the Kind.

Melissa Fumero's Bio: Age and Family

Melissa Fumero was born on August 19, 1982, in Los Angeles, California.

Fumero's parents immigrated to the United States from Cuba.

For her education, Melissa attended New York University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama in December 2003.

Fumero has been dancing since she was a youngster and continues to take courses when her schedule allows. She is a voracious reader who likes attending the theater whenever she can.

On December 9, 2007, she married her One Life To Live co-star David Fumero, and she now goes by the name Melissa Fumero.


Her pregnancy was not written into the program when she announced on social media on November 16, 2015, that she was expecting her first child.


On March 24, 2016, she gave birth to a son called Enzo, the same day the program was renewed for a fourth season.

Melissa Fumero's Professional life 

Fumero joined One Life to Live on January 20, 2004, as the second actress to play Adriana. Adriana is the long-lost daughter of Dorian Cramer Lord, who has been played on-and-off by Daytime Emmy winner Robin Strasser since 1979.

On her last day as an NYU student, Fumero was cast as Adriana. She chose not to extend her contract with the series in late 2007, although she stayed on as a recurrent character to finish Adriana's narrative.

The last time Fumero appeared was on June 11, 2008. In September 2008, she returned to One Life to Live for a 15-episode stint. On February 12, 2010, Fumero made a cameo appearance on OLTL to assist usher in Kelly Cramer's comeback (Gina Tognoni).


Fumero made her big-screen debut with the indie film, Tiny Dancer, in 2008. She appeared in four episodes of Gossip Girl in 2010 as Zoe (aka Headband Girl), The Empire Stricks Jack, and It's a Dad, Dad, Dad World (Season 4).

Her work on television has won her acclaim as a professional actress. In 2016, she was named one of Variety's 10 Latinos to Watch, and she received the 2015 National Hispanic Media Coalition Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Television Series.

She was also nominated for Imagen Awards for Best Supporting Actress in Television in 2015, 2016, and 2019.
