The Twitter account who allegedly shared the images of BLACKPINK's Jennie and BTS's V announced they would no longer post images of the two stars.
The now-suspended Twitter user gurumiharibo shared in a Telegram conversation group on the afternoon of August 31:
"A lot has happened in the past 48 hours, and important people have talked to me." Gurumiharibo continued to write, "After talking with those people, I have decided that I will no longer post any content about Jennie and V."
The source who released the images went on to say,
"I will stick to my position and will repeat myself again. No photos of Jennie and V have been edited or photoshopped. The legal representatives should only speak the truth. Those involved know that there are more photos and they are the only ones who received the photos."
This individual added,
"Please don't speculate too much about this. I've never worked with these people as they claim online. I will use this chatroom only if I need to correct misinformation released by the company."
The Twitter user previously shared a number of images of V and Jennie along with the statement,
"I've sent messages to Jennie several times but I never received a reply."
When questioned if they were concerned about being sued, the person responded,
"If you think I've done something wrong enough to be arrested, tell YG Entertainment and Big Hit Music to do the same. It will take less than a week to file a lawsuit against me."
Since the reports began to circulate in May of this year, when the two were supposedly seen driving together on Jeju island, V and Jennie's apparent relationship has been the most talked-about topic. After that, further purported images of the two K-pop stars appeared online, including one of Jennie snapping a picture of V in a waiting area and another of the stars at V's house.
