Lena Dunham has officially tied the knot with boyfriend Luis Felber!
The Girls creator and the musician got married over the weekend, according to PEOPLE.
Luis did give a subtle hint of the special occasion on Sunday by posting the song, “This Will Be Our Year” by The Zombies on his Instagram Story, adding heart and alien emojis.
The first time Lena revealed that she was dating Luis, professionally known as Attawalpa, was during an interview with The New York Times in April 2021.
“It’s been a few months. I feel really lucky,” Lena remarked at the time, as she called her partner “the greatest person I’ve ever met.”
Then, in June, she posted several pictures of the two on her Instagram to appreciate him on his birthday.
“Feliz Cumpleanos Luis,” she started the caption. “When I was 3 weeks old in downtown Manhattan, I had no idea a baby was being born in England (Winchester, no less!) who would rocket into my life- wearing a lime green polar fleece snood- and challenge so many of my beliefs about myself and the world with magical abandon.”
She continued, “Everyone who comes into contact with you- creatively, emotionally, accidentally- is lucky. But I am the luckiest, because that snood is now in our shared chest of drawers. “The warmth of your love is like the warmth of the sun and this will be our year, took a long time to come..” Happy Birthday, Lulu @attawalpa”
A few days before the birthday post, Lena also gave Luis a shoutout on Twitter.
“When I feel sick, my boyfriend makes delicious pasta & rewatches as much BoJack (Horseman) as I want, walks the dog & makes up songs about her face,” she wrote. “In January, all I Tweeted about was how men are basically refried beans in human form. What I’m saying is, don’t quit before the miracle, kids.”

Luis and Lena made their red carpet debut in August, as they attended a screening of Zola at the Sundance Film Festival in London. Luis had his arm wrapped around Lena as they posed for the pictures and at one point, the musician place a kissed on Lena’s forehead as she smiled.

Luis Felber is a 32-year-old Peruvian English musician who was born in Winchester, England. He spent his early years in Peru and Chile before moving back to Britain at the age of 7.

When he turned 17, Luis skipped university and instead went to pursue a career in music, playing guitar with several other bands.
He is known as Attawalpa on stage and is preparing to release a new single, “Peter Gabriel’s Dream,” on October 13.
His LinkedIn bio reveals that Luis previously worked at LDA PROMOTIONS and GOLBORNE LAYLOW, contributing as an event promoter and music consultant.
