Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck have parted ways after dating for nearly a year. The confirmation came from a source that revealed it to PEOPLE.
“Ben is no longer dating Ana. She broke it off. Their relationship was complicated. Ana doesn’t want to be Los Angeles based and Ben obviously has to since his kids live in Los Angeles.”
The source, close to Ana and Ben, further added that the separation was a mutual decision and “completely amicable,” and that they are “in different points in their lives.”
“There is deep love and respect there. Ben continues to want to work on himself. He has three jobs lined up and he’s a solid father at home. They are both happy with where they are in their lives.”
After first being linked in early 2020, the actors have broken things off during the filming of the thriller Deep Waters in New Orleans.
Following the breakup with Ben Affleck, Ana de Armas is rocking a fresh look on a sleek bob haircut. The 32-year-old actress was seen in her new look in a video praising her close friend, Claudia Muma, on January 17, 2021.
Ana looked gorgeous in a white top, with her fringes appeared in the video wearing pink lip color and an on-fleek winged eyeliner.

When Ana and Ben were romantically linked, the first time was in early March 2020, as they were seen together in Cuba (Ana’s native). They went to Costa Rica for a romantic getaway and returned to Los Angeles. The two were often spotted together throughout the summer, quarantining together.
Ana finally confirmed their relationship in April 2020 on Instagram by sharing a series of photos of them for her 32nd birthday. When they were together, Ana had been spending quality time with Ben’s kids as well - Ben has three kids with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner: daughters Seraphina (age 11), Violet (age 14), and an 8-year-old son named Samuel.
“Ana loves kids and couldn’t wait to meet them and spend time with them. She knows how much they mean to Ben and so she was anxious to be a part of that. She is very sweet and kind to the kids.
