Nick Cannon is speaking out on the precedent of him having welcomed multiple children.
On the July 7 installment of Nick’s Power 106 Los Angeles radio show, the host claimed, “I’m having these kids on purpose. I didn’t have no accident.”
This Wednesday, during the radio show, City Girls rapper JT (born Jatavia Shakara Johnson) playfully advised Nick to “wrap it up,” and clarified his statement to “wrap it up as in wrap it up and protect yourself,” meaning, use protection to avoid pregnancies.
Nick then explained, “Trust me, there’s a lot of people that I could’ve gotten pregnant that I didn’t.” He continued, “The ones that got pregnant are the ones that were supposed to get pregnant.”

“I say YOLO,” Yung Miami, the other half of City Girls, added to the conversation. Nick then agreed to the comment, “There it is, you only live once.”
Earlier in the show, Nick even went as far as comparing his pattern of welcoming children to that of a seahorse, as he said, “I’m like a seahorse out here. That’s just the way I’m procreating.”
Nick became a father for the first time when he was with his ex-wife, Mariah Carey. They have 10-year-old twins: son Moroccan and daughter Monroe.
He has also welcomed twin sons, Zillion Heir and Zion Mixolydian, with a woman named Abby De La Rosa.
