Netflix is back with ‘Too Hot to Handle’ season two and its favorite narrator, Desiree Burch. The narrator has claimed that this season is way more intense than the first.
So, alongside the anticipation of the new season of the show, let’s get to know Desiree Burch through this article.
Desiree Burch Age, Family

People love Desiree’s narration in the show as she drops some witty comments here and there to freshen up any scene. She wanted to do the show as she has a real passion for voiceovers.
“I was just down for the ride, and now having done a season of it, I really actually have a lot of heart for the show.” - Desiree Burch to Pop Sugar
However, Desiree does not forget to credit the show’s crew who help her with her commentary. “I can’t take full credit for this. There are producers, other people, writers, who kind of are like, ‘Here’s the story as we see it.’ Because by the time I’m watching it, they’ve already gone to whatever remote, beautiful location they’ve been to. They’ve shot the entire thing,” Desiree explained.
She continued, “The producers have made a rough cut… so it’s a rough version of what ultimately winds up on the screen and they’re kind of like, ‘OK, here are the bits that we want to highlight.’ From there, part of it is about interpretation of the show, part of it is about, ‘Oh, actually, would it be funnier if we did this? Or said this?’ Or just gut reactions having watched it for the first time in the studio because it’s really me, a producer, and a sound engineer watching it together.”
Another interesting thing to note is that Desiree has never actually met any of the contestants despite being the narrator of the show.
Her Career, Net Worth
Desiree moved to London to live with her English boyfriend (then-boyfriend) who had told her that she would do well there for her comedy career.
Even after the two broke up, she found London more like her home so she stayed and became the founding Artistic Director of Degenerate Fox Theatre.
