How Old is Sean Giambrone? His Bio

Sean Giambrone was born on May 30, 1999, under the zodiac sign of Gemini. He was born in St. Joseph, Michigan in a family of Italian and German descent to David Giambrone and Vonda Giambrone. He grew up in Park Ridge, Illinois with his elder brother, Luke Giambrone.

Although he doesn’t talk much about his parents, Sean has posted a picture of his father to wish him on father’s day.

For his education, Sean went to Lincoln Middle School. After that, he attended Maine South High School. 

Sean Giambrone’s Career

Everything started when Sean was in elementary school and was very interested in acting. He would often play in short home videos with his brother.

During an interview with Chicago Tribune, Sean talked about his experience of shooting those home videos, “I always had a blast (making those movies), dressing up in the costumes and stuff.”

“I loved the whole idea of getting into character. Then, when I was in elementary school, there was a variety of shows that I acted in. That’s when I started thinking that I wanted to pursue it.”

That was when Sean’s mother supported his passion by connecting him with a talent agent, Brooke Tonneman, who is the co-owner of Chicago-based Big Mouth Talent. 

Sean was 9 years of age and began to star in television commercials for Friendly’s Restaurants and McDonald’s among several other brands.

The first film role Sean did was Afro Boy in the family comedy, ‘I Heart Shakey.’ 

It was in September 2013 when the actor was cast as Adam Goldberg, the youngest child of the Goldberg family, in ‘The Goldbergs.’ 

In February 2014, Sean became a part of the voice cast for the animated series, ‘Clarence.’ The series aired on Cartoon Network, and Sean voiced the character, Jeff, who is a friend of the lead character. 

Sean also appeared in R.L. Stine’s ‘The Haunting Hour,’ in 2010. He also provided his voice for the character of a bull terrier named Russell in the film, ‘Russell Madness.’

Since 2020, the actor has been voicing the character, Ben Pincus, in ‘Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous.’

‘The Goldbergs’ is currently in its eighth season, which premiered on October 21, 2020. In May 2020, it was official that ABC had renewed the series for a ninth season.

In 2016, Sean was even nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series - Leading Young Acto (14-21) for his role in ‘The Goldbergs.’
